Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo / Giza Pyramids / Egyptian Museum
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. Upon arrival, our Ramasside Tours representative will meet you holding a Ramasside sign. You will then be transferred in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your tour visiting the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities (The Egyptian Museum). On display is a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of Pharaonic art—recognized as the world's largest and most valuable—featuring over 250,000 genuine artifacts, including a dedicated exhibition for the treasures, gold, and jewelry of King Tutankhamun, which remained sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before Howard Carter’s 1922 discovery.
Next, visit the Great Pyramids: Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mykerinos). Khufu is the most colossal pyramid ever constructed. Proceed to get an up-close look at the Great Sphinx, an immense funerary monument guarded by the legendary body of a lion with the head of King Khafre.
(Optional) Evening excursion to attend the Sound and Light Show across the Giza Pyramids plateau.
Overnight stay at your hotel.
(Note: If you are unable to complete the sightseeing on Day 1 due to a late flight arrival, it can be scheduled for your final departure day).
Day 2: Cairo / Nile Cruise / Aswan
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, transfer to visit the High Dam and the magnificent Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Check-in and overnight stay on board the Nile Cruise.
(Note: Cruising schedules and sailing itineraries may occasionally be updated due to river navigational conditions. All listed attractions will be fully visited, though possibly in a adjusted sequence).
Day 3: Nile Cruise / Kom Ombo / Edfu
Sail toward Kom Ombo. Enjoy afternoon tea on deck. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to two deities: Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris (Horus the Elder). Continue sailing toward Edfu. Dinner on board followed by an evening oriental disco party.
Overnight stay on board the Nile Cruise.
Day 4: Nile Cruise / Luxor
Breakfast on board. Visit the well-preserved Temple of Horus in Edfu by horse-drawn carriage. Sail through the Esna Lock toward Luxor.
(Optional East Bank Tour) Upon arrival on Luxor's East Bank, accompany your private licensed English-speaking Egyptologist guide to explore the Temples of Karnak—the largest open-air religious complex in history, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu, constructed from the Middle Kingdom through Greco-Roman times.
Next, visit Luxor Temple, built primarily by Amenhotep III during the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. Ramesses II, who ruled Egypt for approximately 67 years, dedicated the temple to the divine Triad. Admire the colossal seated statues and the surviving Granite Obelisk of Ramesses II fronting the first pylon.
Dinner on board. Overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 5: Luxor / Cairo
Breakfast on board followed by disembarkation.
(Optional Hot Air Balloon) Make your time in Luxor unforgettable with a peaceful early morning sunrise balloon flight gliding over the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Tombs of the Nobles (flight lasts approximately 30–45 minutes, weather permitting).
Cross to Luxor's West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Visit the rock-cut royal tombs across successive dynasties and explore the terraced sanctuary of Deir El Bahari.
On the return drive, stop at the Colossi of Memnon—two towering quartzite seated statues depicting Amenhotep III facing the Nile. Transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 6: Departure from Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Our representative will transfer you to Cairo International Airport and assist you with all final departure formalities.

- Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
