Tour Highlights:
On Day 1, arrive in Cairo where our representative will meet you with a "Ramasside Tours" sign and transfer you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. On Day 2, explore the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, and attend an optional evening Sound and Light Show. Day 3 features the Step Pyramid of Saqqara, ancient Memphis, and the pyramids of Dahshur. On Day 4, tour the Saladin Citadel, the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, and historic Old Cairo. Day 5 offers a free leisure day with an optional full-day excursion to Alexandria, concluding on Day 6 with breakfast and your airport departure transfer.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport. You will be greeted by our Ramasside Tours representative holding a welcome sign and transferred in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & The Egyptian Museum
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private Egyptologist guide to begin your tour of the monumental Pyramids of Giza: Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mykerinos). Visit the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre, used historically for mummification rites.
Next, visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in central Cairo. The museum houses a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of pharaonic civilization, considered one of the largest and most valuable in the world, headlined by the golden treasures and jewelry of King Tutankhamun. Enjoy a photo stop along the River Nile before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Saqqara, Ancient Memphis & Dahshur Pyramids
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and journey south to Saqqara to tour the Step Pyramid of Djoser—the world’s earliest monumental stone structure, engineered during the Third Dynasty (c. 2630 BC) by Imhotep.
Proceed to Memphis, Egypt's first unified capital founded by King Menes during the Old Kingdom. For over 3,000 years, Memphis stood as a premier political and cultural center; here you will see the colossal limestone statue of Ramesses II. Continue south to explore the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid in Dahshur. Return to your hotel.
(Optional: 2-Hour evening Nile dinner cruise featuring authentic Egyptian folkloric entertainment).

Day 4: Saladin Citadel, Alabaster Mosque & Old Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and head to the medieval Citadel of Saladin, constructed in 1183 AD atop the Mokattam hills to defend Cairo from Crusaders. Visit the magnificent Mosque of Muhammad Ali (the Alabaster Mosque), designed by architect Yusuf Bushnaq of Istanbul.
Continue into Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) to visit the Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of Saint Barbara, and Abu Serga (Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus). Return to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 5: Free Day in Cairo (Optional Alexandria Day Tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure in Cairo.
(Optional Excursion: Full-day guided tour to Alexandria. Visit the world-class Bibliotheca Alexandrina—closed Fridays and public holidays; reading areas require an on-site ticket. Explore the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse where the Citadel of Qaitbay now stands. Stroll through the royal grounds of Montaza Palace and Gardens, view the Haramlik and Salamlik palaces, and visit Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the Unknown Soldier Memorial, and the statue of Alexander the Great. Enjoy an optional lunch, visit Saint Mark’s Church, take in coastline views along the 30 km Corniche, photograph Stanley Bridge, and explore the ancient downtown streets before returning to Cairo).

Day 6: Departure from Cairo
Breakfast at the hotel. Our airport representative will provide private transfer assistance to Cairo International Airport for your international departure flight with full check-in support.

- Hotel Standards in Egypt:
- Hotel classifications in Egypt differ from US and European systems. Standard 5-star hotels may feel closer to 3 or 4-star properties abroad. We strongly suggest selecting Luxury or Ultra-Luxury accommodation plans for travelers expecting international 5-star luxury standards.
- Visa Support on Arrival:
- Avoid airport queues. Send us your passport copy in advance, and our representative will arrange your entry visa on arrival. (Eligible travelers holding valid US, UK, or Schengen visas can obtain visa-on-arrival support regardless of nationality).
- Night Sleeper Trains (Not Recommended):
- We advise against overnight sleeper trains due to extended journey times (15–18 hours), noise levels, and compact sleeping berths. We strongly recommend domestic flights instead. A one-way domestic flight upgrade with an additional 5-star hotel night starts from $150 USD per person.
- Travel Insurance (AIG Travel Guard):
- Protect your holiday with optional coverage through AIG: $25 USD per person per week, or $50 USD per person for itineraries exceeding one week.

- Special Archaeological Site Tickets:
- Standard entrance passes exclude restricted special chambers, such as the burial chamber inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu or the Tomb of King Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings. Entry to these specific chambers can be added upon request for an additional fee.
- Essential Packing:
- Comfortable, closed walking shoes are recommended for stone ruins and archaeological grounds. Pack comfortable slip-on shoes or sandals for felucca and cruise decks.
