The museum houses rare collections spanning 5,000 years of pharaonic civilization and displays over 250,000 authentic artifacts, including the world-famous golden funerary treasures of King Tutankhamun discovered in the 1920s.
Next, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza—Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren), and Menkaure (Mykerinos). Khufu is celebrated as the largest pyramid ever constructed. Proceed to the Great Sphinx, the colossal monolithic monument featuring the body of a lion and the facial features of Pharaoh Khafre. Return to your hotel.

Visit the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse where the Citadel of Qaitbay now stands. Continue to the grand Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the Unknown Soldier Memorial of Alexandria, and the statue of Alexander the Great.
Enjoy an optional lunch, visit Saint Mark’s Church (the oldest church in Africa), and drive along the 30 km Corniche for panoramic sea views over the historic harbor where over 7,000 sunken antiquities were uncovered.
