The narration begins from the perspective of the Great Sphinx—the 5,000-year-old guardian of the City of the Dead—recounting the monumental engineering of the royal pyramids and the dramatic reigns of historical figures like Queen Nefertiti, King Khufu, and King Tutankhamun. Following the performance, relax in a private, air-conditioned vehicle for a smooth transfer back to your hotel.

Evening Hotel Pickup

Your Ramasside Tours representative and private driver will meet you directly at your hotel lobby in Cairo or Giza holding a personalized sign. Settle into a modern, climate-controlled vehicle for a private transfer to the Giza Plateau amphitheater.

The Sound and Light Performance

Take your reserved seats facing the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. As dusk settles over the desert, dramatic lasers, projections, and cinematic orchestral music illuminate the monuments.

Listen as the Sphinx recounts ancient history, covering the Fourth Dynasty royal court, ancient mummification mysteries, the construction of the pyramids, and the legacies of pharaonic rulers. The vibrant illumination provides exceptional night photography opportunities of the monuments glowing against the desert sky.

Return Hotel Transfer

Following the show, your driver and vehicle will meet you outside the theater gates to escort you comfortably back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
