Your Egyptologist guide and tour manager from Ramasside Tours will be waiting for you inside Safaga Port holding a sign with your name—there is no need to search, as they will locate and welcome you immediately upon disembarkation.

From the moment your journey begins, your guide provides full assistance and dedicated attention. Once settled in the vehicle, your guide will introduce the historical route and share captivating stories about the landmarks you will encounter.

Following a scenic 3-hour drive across the Eastern Desert in a modern air-conditioned vehicle, you will arrive in Luxor. Begin with a guided exploration of Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever constructed in human history. Developed from the Middle Kingdom through the Greco-Roman period, its monumental Great Hypostyle Hall features a breathtaking forest of 134 towering sandstone columns.

Next, explore Luxor Temple, constructed primarily during the reign of Amenhotep III and completed by Ramesses II, showcasing some of Egypt’s best-preserved relief carvings. In the evening, you can attend the optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple before checking into your hotel for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 2: The West Bank of Luxor – Return to Safaga

Following breakfast at your hotel, cross the Nile to Luxor’s West Bank to view the two monumental quartzite statues of Amenhotep III, the legendary Colossi of Memnon. Next, proceed to the Valley of the Kings to explore three magnificent royal burial chambers excavated deep into limestone cliffs, decorated with vivid funerary scenes and preserved inscriptions.
