Morning Pickup & Drive to Rosetta

Your Ramasside Tours guide will greet you directly at your hotel lobby holding a personalized sign. Relax inside a private, air-conditioned vehicle as your guide shares historical insights and background details regarding the Nile Delta and the storied past of Rashid. Enjoy a scenic 60-kilometer drive northeast to Rosetta.

Nile Motorboat Cruise & Fort of the Rosetta Stone

Upon arrival, board a private motorboat for a scenic cruise along the Rosetta branch of the River Nile. Cruise towards the Estuary (Al-Boughaz) to witness the natural confluence where the freshwater Nile flows directly into the Mediterranean Sea.

Disembark to explore the historic Fort of Qaitbay at Rosetta (Fort Julien). Walk through the ancient fortress grounds where French soldiers under Napoleon’s expedition discovered the legendary Rosetta Stone in 1799—the trilingual artifact that unlocked the secrets of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Step into Rosetta's historic quarters, recognized as Egypt's foremost open-air museum of Ottoman residential architecture after Cairo.
