Conclude your getaway on Day 3 with breakfast and an effortless private airport departure transfer. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Egyptian Museum & Historic Old Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be warmly met inside the terminal by our Ramasside Tours representative holding a personalized sign. Transfer in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Tahrir Square to begin your guided exploration of pharaonic history.

The museum houses a world-renowned collection spanning over 5,000 years of civilization, recognized as one of the largest and most valuable collections of Egyptian antiquities in existence. Explore over 250,000 authentic masterworks, highlighted by the royal treasures, gold death masks, and jewelry of King Tutankhamun, which remained sealed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years before their excavation in the 1920s.

Next, visit the medieval Citadel of Saladin and step inside the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Continue to Historic Old Cairo (Coptic Cairo) to visit the Hanging Church, the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus (Abu Serga), and Ben Ezra Synagogue. At the end of the tour, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

(Note: If a late arrival prevents touring on this day, visits can be rescheduled to your final departure day).

(Optional: 2-hour evening dinner cruise along the River Nile featuring traditional folkloric dance and music shows).

Day 2: The Giza Pyramids, Saqqara & Ancient Memphis

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your private Egyptologist guide to begin your excursion to the Giza Plateau to behold the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Stand before the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian sculpture featuring a lion’s body and the pharaonic face of King Khafre, and visit the Valley Temple of Khafre.

Continue south to the Saqqara Necropolis to explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, humanity's oldest monumental stone building, engineered by the master architect Imhotep during the Third Dynasty (c. 2630 BC).

Proceed to Memphis, the ancient capital founded by King Menes that served as Egypt’s seat of royal power and culture throughout the Old Kingdom for more than 3,000 years. Tour the open-air museum to view the colossal limestone statue of Ramesses II and ancient alabaster sphinxes.

(Optional: In the evening, attend the Sound and Light Show across the illuminated Giza Plateau).

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Final Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Your Ramasside Tours representative will provide a private transfer to Cairo International Airport and assist you with departure and boarding procedures for your onward flight.
