Tour Highlights

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, our Ramasside Tours representative will greet you inside the terminal with a personalized sign and provide a private transfer to your hotel. The following day, explore the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities—housing an incomparable collection of ancient art spanning 5,000 years—and the monumental Giza Pyramids, including the Great Sphinx and Valley Temple.

On Day 3, take an early morning domestic flight to Luxor for an extensive full-day guided excursion covering both the West and East banks, including the Valley of the Kings, the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, the Colossi of Memnon, Luxor Temple, and Karnak Temple. Fly back to Cairo that evening before concluding your holiday with an airport departure transfer on Day 4.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met inside the terminal by our Ramasside Tours representative holding a personalized sign. Enjoy a private transfer in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: The Giza Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

Breakfast at the hotel. Begin your guided sightseeing at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Tahrir Square, home to a world-renowned collection spanning over 5,000 years of civilization, recognized as the most extensive and valuable collection of pharaonic artifacts in existence. Explore over 250,000 authentic items, highlighted by the royal treasures, gold masks, and jewelry of King Tutankhamun, which remained sealed in his tomb for more than 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.

Next, proceed to the Giza Plateau to behold the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Marvel at the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest stone pyramid ever erected and the sole surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Stand before the Great Sphinx, the colossal limestone guardian sculpture featuring a lion’s body and the pharaonic face of King Khafre.

At the end of the tour, transfer back to your hotel.

(Optional: In the evening, attend the Sound and Light Show across the illuminated Giza Plateau).

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Full-Day Luxor Tour by Air (West & East Banks)

Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative to begin your guided exploration of ancient Thebes.

Cross over to Luxor's West Bank to discover the Theban Necropolis. Explore the world-famous Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs, touring rock-cut tombs across various dynasties. Visit the terraced Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, built into the towering limestone cliffs. On the return drive toward the Nile, stop before the towering Colossi of Memnon, two massive quartzite statues representing Amenhotep III.

Cross back to the East Bank to tour Luxor's monumental temple complexes. Visit Luxor Temple, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu, to view its monumental courtyards, colonnades, and colossal granite statues of Ramesses II. Continue by vehicle or traditional carriage to the vast Karnak Temple complex, built across successive dynasties spanning over two millennia. Walk through the Avenue of Sphinxes, enter through the massive pylon gates, admire the Great Hypostyle Hall with its 134 towering sandstone columns, and view the obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Thutmose III, the sacred lake, and the colossal granite scarab beetle of Amenhotep III.

Transfer to Luxor Airport for your evening flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, private transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Final Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Your Ramasside Tours representative will provide a private transfer to Cairo International Airport and assist you with departure procedures for your onward flight.
