From the moment your tour begins, your guide will give you their undivided attention. Once in the vehicle, your guide will talk about everything you see along the route, as well as any other aspects of your tour that interest you.

You will be transferred in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the last four living, active monasteries of this valley once veiled in sacred desert mystery.

First, visit Deir al-Baramus, the oldest of the monasteries and your first stop. Next, head to Deir Anba Bishoy, where the intact body of Saint Bishoy is still preserved within the sanctuary. Continue to Deir Abu Maqar, historically the richest and most prominent of the monasteries. Conclude your tour with Deir El-Suryani, the most compact and architecturally distinctive among the four monastic complexes.

On your return journey toward Alexandria, if time permits, photo stops can be arranged.
